# Components:
→ Bread
01 - 8 slices brioche or challah bread
→ Cheesecake Filling
02 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
03 - 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, plus more for dusting
→ Strawberry Layer
04 - 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
05 - 1/4 cup strawberry jam
→ Dipping Mixture
06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 3 tablespoons milk
→ For Frying
08 - 2 tablespoons butter
# Method:
01 - In a small mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
02 - Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly onto one side of four bread slices. Layer sliced strawberries and a spoonful of strawberry jam on top of the cream cheese. Top each with a remaining bread slice to form sandwiches.
03 - In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs and milk until fully combined.
04 - Dip each assembled sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are thoroughly coated.
05 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon butter. Place sandwiches in the skillet and fry for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until both sides are crisp and golden brown. Fry in batches if necessary, adding remaining butter as needed.
06 - Transfer fried sandwiches to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil. Dust with additional powdered sugar before serving.
