06 - 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
07 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
→ Decoration
08 - 3.5 oz white chocolate, melted
09 - Green gel food coloring
10 - 12 strawberries, hulled, washed, and dried
11 - Assorted sprinkles and/or edible stars
12 - 12 small marshmallows (optional)
# Method:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
02 - Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan or microwave and allow to cool slightly.
03 - Whisk melted butter together with granulated sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
04 - Sift all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the wet mixture. Stir gently until just combined.
05 - Pour the batter into prepared pan, smooth the surface, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until set but fudgy. Cool completely in the pan.
06 - Once cooled, cut the brownies into 12 equal squares.
07 - Mix melted white chocolate with green gel food coloring until evenly tinted.
08 - If using, place a marshmallow on each brownie square. Set a strawberry upright on top to form the hat.
09 - Spoon or pipe the green chocolate over each strawberry to resemble a Christmas tree. Immediately add sprinkles and edible stars.
10 - Allow to set at room temperature for 10 minutes or refrigerate briefly until the chocolate hardens.
