Instructions

Prepare Dry Ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Prepare Wet Ingredients:
In another bowl, combine buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until just combined (do not overmix).
