# Method:
01 - In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
02 - Mix in the egg and pure vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and uniformly combined.
03 - Gradually add the all-purpose flour and fine salt, stirring continuously until a smooth dough forms.
04 - Shape the dough into a disk, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for a minimum of 20 minutes.
05 - Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
06 - On a lightly floured surface, roll out the chilled dough to a 1/4 inch thickness; then use snowflake-shaped cutters to cut cookies.
07 - Place cookies on the prepared baking sheets and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges begin to turn golden.
