10 - 2 black grapes or blueberries, for shark eyes
11 - 2 mini marshmallow slices or banana rounds, for shark eye whites
12 - Fresh mint leaves
# Method:
01 - Using a large sharp knife, slice a thin piece off the watermelon base so it sits flat on the platter.
02 - Cut a wedge from one end of the watermelon to create the shark's open mouth. Scoop out most of the flesh using a melon baller, reserving the balls for the arrangement.
03 - Using a paring knife, carefully carve triangular teeth along the edge of the mouth wedge.
04 - Attach the eyes above the mouth by stacking a mini marshmallow slice or banana round with a black grape or blueberry on top, securing each with a toothpick.
05 - Place the reserved watermelon balls spilling from the shark’s mouth onto a large serving platter.
06 - Surround the watermelon shark with strawberries, blueberries, halved green grapes, pineapple chunks, kiwi slices, and orange segments in colorful waves.
07 - Fill in the remaining spaces with pretzel sticks, cheese cubes (or dairy-free alternative), and fresh mint leaves for garnish.
08 - Serve the board immediately or cover and chill for up to 2 hours before serving.
