→ Icing Drizzle

08 - 1 cup powdered sugar
09 - 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
10 - ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
11 - Food coloring (optional)

# Method:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy, approximately 2 minutes.
03 - Add the large egg and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture and mix until fully incorporated.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt, then gradually add to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined.
05 - Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough, roll into balls, and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets. Slightly flatten each ball with your hand or the bottom of a glass.
06 - Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until the edges are lightly golden. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
07 - In a small bowl, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Optionally, divide and add food coloring for a vibrant effect.
08 - When cookies are fully cooled, drizzle the icing over the tops using a spoon or piping bag. Let the icing set before serving.
