Peanut Butter Jello Salad (Printable)

Chilled layers of peanut butter, cream, and jello blend for a sweet, textured dessert treat.

# Components:

→ Jello Base

01 - 2 (3 oz) boxes strawberry gelatin dessert mix
02 - 2 cups boiling water
03 - 1 cup cold water

→ Creamy Layer

04 - 1 cup heavy whipping cream
05 - 4 oz cream cheese, softened
06 - 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
07 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar
08 - 1 tsp vanilla extract

→ Topping (Optional)

09 - 1/2 cup chopped roasted peanuts
10 - 1 cup mini marshmallows

# Method:

01 - In a mixing bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin dessert mixes in the boiling water, stirring until fully incorporated. Add the cold water and mix thoroughly.
02 - Pour the prepared gelatin mixture into a 9x13 inch serving dish. Refrigerate for approximately 1 hour, or until it reaches a partially set stage, still fluid but not firm.
03 - In a separate mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it achieves a smooth consistency. Incorporate the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, beating until the mixture is uniformly creamy and well combined.
04 - In another bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until a smooth, homogenous consistency is achieved.
05 - Evenly spread the prepared peanut butter cream mixture over the partially set gelatin layer in the serving dish.
06 - If using, evenly sprinkle the chopped roasted peanuts and mini marshmallows over the peanut butter layer.
07 - Return the assembled dessert to the refrigerator and allow it to chill for a minimum of 1 hour, or until the entire mixture is fully set.
08 - Slice the chilled dessert into portions and serve cold.
