- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and position a wire rack atop it.
- Thoroughly pat the chicken wings dry using paper towels. In a large mixing bowl, toss the wings with vegetable oil, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until each piece is evenly coated.
- Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on the prepared wire rack. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, inverting the wings once halfway through the cooking time, until they achieve a crispy, golden-brown finish.
- While the wings are baking, combine honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, melted butter, rice vinegar, and minced garlic in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring consistently. Allow it to simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, or until it has slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
- Transfer the baked chicken wings to a large bowl. Pour the prepared honey Sriracha sauce over the wings and toss gently until they are uniformly coated.
- Arrange the glazed wings on a serving platter. Garnish with chopped cilantro, toasted sesame seeds, and lime wedges, if desired.
