# Components:
→ Biscuits
01 - 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough, yield 8 biscuits
→ Cinnamon Sugar Coating
02 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
04 - 1 to 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper, adjust to taste
05 - 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, optional
06 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
# Method:
01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Combine granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and chili powder in a shallow bowl.
03 - Separate biscuit dough. Roll each biscuit into a ball and elongate gently to form an oval.
04 - Thread each shaped biscuit onto a wooden skewer. If baking directly on oven rack, soak skewers in water for 10 minutes to prevent burning.
05 - Brush each biscuit thoroughly with melted butter, ensuring all surfaces are covered.
06 - Roll each biscuit skewer in cinnamon sugar mixture, coating all sides evenly.
07 - Place skewers on the prepared baking sheet with space between each. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
08 - Allow to cool briefly before serving. Present warm for optimal flavor.
